Went to a concert by Mariee Sioux yesterday, and found myself the subject of a little girl crush! She's got the most beautiful voice and a sickening amount of talent. Heartwarming.

If you ever wondered about the meaning of the word mellifluous, it is perfectly defined by Mariee's voice. I also adore her style. It's somewhere between the words dreamy girlish traditional native american patterns flowery hippie indie.

She's so pretty. It makes me want to shout at my genes.

I wanted an outfit that sounded like Une Larme by Modest Mussorgsky today. A very very last summer breeze, not overly colourful, but airy.
